Young Women's Hub

Safeguarding at the Hub

Safeguarding at The Young Women's Hub,  is more than a policy—it is a deeply held commitment woven throughout our culture and everyday practice. As a small independent provision supporting young women facing trauma, mental health challenges, and periods of absence from education, we create an environment where safety, healing, and learning go hand in hand.

All staff receive ongoing professional development, including trauma-informed and safeguarding awareness training, to ensure they respond with empathy and expertise. Our relational and safeguarding policies are consistently updated to reflect best practice, and safer recruitment processes ensure we build a team who are skilled, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the needs of vulnerable learners.

Everyone in our community shares a broad and reflective understanding of safeguarding. We hold space for young women to rebuild trust, regain confidence, and reconnect with their education—knowing they are valued, understood, and supported every step of the way.
